If you always dreamed of riding away into the sunset on the back of a horse holding on tight to your cowboy, here's your chance. Why look to modern styles for your wedding when you can go all out, and theme it? Elissa and Casey did just that for their Wild West Vancouver wedding, complete with cowboy hats, saloon-style corsets, and a horse-drawn carriage. I think what I might love the most is the contrast between the sweet lace dress the bride wears and the saucy looks the bridesmaids are pulling off. Love it! Congrats Elissa and Casey!
A few words from the fantastic photographer, Sparkle Photography!
"I loved this wedding…Elissa & Casey truly celebrated Park City’s old western heritage by encouraging guests to dress up for their themed wedding. Friends & family came as mountain men, gypsy inspired women, hippies & the gorgeous bridemaids as Old West saloon girls. Elissa had a special request if I would shoot with film & old cameras, which I loved. There is something about film that is still quite timeless. These photographs are a mix of both digital & film. The ceremony took place at the Zen Garden/Yoga Shop & in Old West fashion, a horse & buggy took the bride and groom up to a cute house behind Main Street where the celebration continued. Talented friends made all the food, cake, flowers and played in the band. Elissa is a natural, hippie beauty & Casey a free-spirited soul…what more could a photographer ask for? Thank you both for warm energy & fun spirits! "
